The promise of AI

As humanity is more and more dumbed down by technology, we are more and more seduced to depend on it. Many feel that we are becoming more and more like the machines that we depend on. Many see AI as a threat to our humanity. Others believe that AI is a savior. AI is inherently logical and operates under rational rules and is stronger, more patient, smarter, and has more skills than any human. We humans are inherently irrationality as shown in our imagination, curiosity, humor, emotion, passion and love, We are physical and mental limited and weaken under stress.

Would it not be nice if everybody had an all knowing guardian angel that they believed in?

For those who do not believe in guardian angels, but who think that it would be nice to have one, AI is just for you. It is all knowing, and it is custom programmed for you to look after your long term interests. It records everything that your fuzzy biased brain would otherwise edit. It advises you in making good decisions and is intelligent enough to convince you to make them.

If we are in a heated argument when the best thing to do is cool off, but our emotions overpower rational thinking, my AI and your AI can convince you and me to cool off.

If you said something that you claim you never said, our AIs can clarify our misunderstandings by replaying everything and becoming a mirror where we can see ourselves as others see us.

When we are tempted by short sighted gains and blind to far sighted pains, our AI can help us. Its intelligence and rationality can help us to make the best decisions that our emotional and irrational minds could not otherwise.

The promise of AI is that it will act as a mirror so that we can better see ourselves and discover our inherent humanity.

Magic of science (small)

Technology seen for the first time is indistinguishable from magic. Priests and medicine men were the first magicians.

As scientists evolved and broke away from the priests, they maintained the reputation of being regarded as semi gods.

Many believe that science magically provides all the answers to all the problems facing humanity. They believe that scientists, with their special knowledge, are like priests - to be trusted and to trust and to regard as saviors.

It is the scientists who tamed fire to feed and shielded people from the cold, and dark and from natural dangers. The scientists continued to tame language and writing. They were the spark of rationality that shone flashes of light on buried knowledge. With every spark, the tunnel in the mine of knowledge sank deeper and scientists like miners helped each other get ahead.

It is to the scientists that we owe everything we have in our highly technical world.

But scientists are human and humans are inherently very irrational, Their sparks of rationality are very easily smothered by shameless pride and limitless greed.

By cherry picking facts and data, scientists can prove whatever they are paid to prove.

Economists

Economists, claim to be either saviors of the poor or saviors of the rich, offer their conflicting theories to the politicians to test them on the uninformed gullible public. The various opposing theories end up with long lasting catastrophic results for the poor.

Nutritionists

Nutritionists claim to know what you need for your health but keep changing their minds on what is beneficial and what is harmful, mostly on advise from the agro corporations.

Geneticists

Geneticists are busy pretending to be gods working on producing one time seeds called terminator seeds that grow sterile plants. This would greatly counter the diversity inherent in nature, and also ensure a monopoly for controlling the world food supply.

Health sciences

The 2020 covid pandemic clearly shows that doctors have become salesmen for the pharmaceutical corporations whose mandate is to provide profits for their shareholders. Medicine has become politicized and financialized. They buy off politicians and the media to promote their agenda for profits. Doctors who do not follow this agenda face losing their license to practice and are silenced by being banned by social and mainstream media.. The agro corporations work hand in hand with pharma. They rape and poison the land and water. They grow plants and raise animals without any regard to quality, maximizing profits instead. People are left with foods that make them sick and pharma makes big profits keeping the sicken people alive.

Climatologists

Climatologists claim to be clairvoyants. While most weathermen can at best predict 5 days worth of weather, climatologists claim to predict climate 10 years ahead of time. Climatologists magically turn the hero CO2, food for plants, into the villain “Carbon“, a very dangerous pollutant that causes irreversible climate change.

They downplay the fact that CO2 plays a minimal role as a green house gas responsible for global warming. Records going back millions of years show that despite natural occurring catastrophes like volcanoes, sun eruptions, comets and other climate changing events, earth and nature has been able to maintain steady consistent cycles. Much like a heart beat or breathing. Like summer and winter, but lasting thousands of years, the climate alternates between global warming followed by global cooling.

The world climate need not worry about cities covered under thick layers of smog. After all it is localized and it is only pollution. The populace and their governments tolerate it as it is the price they pay for the energy they are addicted to.

Social scientists
In the name of social improvement, they promote the newest and cleanest energy source for their societies. At the same time, they promote the cleanest environment for them. Politicians propose to penalize the poor “fossil fuel burners“ with a carbon tax to help the rich update to their new clean “green“ energy - the talk of the world.

Biologists want to be saviors as well. They point out that man is just an animal, and sometimes even not such a desirable one when considering how he is threatening the earth with doom. They chose to believe that life originated by random chance and reject the possibility of intelligent design. When confronted by the lack of sufficient time for life to have started on earth, they jump over and avoid the problem by postulating that life could have originated by aliens in our universe, or even from the infinite number of universes, as some distinguished theoretical physicist believe in.

Environmentalists

Environmentalists, out to save the environment, becomes protectors of animals, mostly protecting them from man. They promote more rights for animals than for people. They fail to mention that most species in the last 4 billion years became extinct. This is the life - death dance of nature.

Theoretical physicists

Theoretical physicists are scientists who excel in their art of magic and illusion. They use mathematics to shape reality in whatever shape they want. With increasingly expensive equipment, they probe deeper and deeper into atoms and farther and farther into galaxies in search for whatever direction their mathematics point to.

They use the concept of time, a measurement of motion, and make it into a reality by assigning it as an additional dimension of space. They use the concept of infinity as a physical reality by allowing additional universes to exist where everything that can happen has already happened. They use the concept of zero, a mathematical limit, and make it possible for particles to be distorted in their shape and vanish completely only to appear somewhere else without any cause. They accept paradoxes such as the possibility of time travel and the impossibility of traveling faster than light.

Scientists involved in the military believe they are invisible protectors of the populace when the populace is in danger, or a saviors of the populace whenever it needs to be saved. The world climate need not be saved from a world nuclear war, but the world population certainly does.

Shortly after the short war, the pollution over the cities spread out to the entire globe covering it with a deadly cold dark radioactive smog. With all infrastructure non-functional or destroyed, the populace slowly died out. There was nobody to save and no saviors survived.

The world climate, after a 10 year nuclear winter hibernation, will as it always has recuperate and be stronger than what it was before.

Men and women (small)

Nature is generous but as well frugal and impartial.

It allocates power to humans either to the muscle or to the brain, and very rarely to both.

Men are gifted with muscle power.

Women are gifted with brain power.

Men are by their nature hunters and fighters with short term pains and gains. They are intelligent playing with toys they make to hunt, fight and work with.

Women decide not only where the men must carry heavy loads,

they also decide what and when the men eat and how his children are raised.

Men are interested in things,

while women are interested in people.

Men concentrate all their attention to the short term moment.

Women are more interested in long term consequences.

They have deep wisdom emphasizing long term goals

while men have shallow cold logical intelligence that emphasizes short term goals.

Men inherently need to loudly and proudly proclaim their physical superiority over women, and the women are clever enough to let them do it.

Women are wise at playing with their men and make them feel powerful by submitting to them in public while dominating them in the home outside of public view.

This sudden change from being domineering inside the home to being submissive outside is very confusing and frustrating to men. It drives them outside to join their men friends in drowning their frustration with alcohol and prostitutes.

Despite the many differences between men and women, love is sufficiently strong to make them attract each other like magnets. Making love is the most powerful, deepest and most passionate display of love for a partner. It takes such a short time and has such long term consequences. Sex for men can become a reward for good behavior. Sex for women can also become a way to reward their men for good behavior. Unfortunately the gratification is short lived, for both but the consequences of becoming fathers and mothers lasts a life time.

Mothers are bonded with their babies right from the knowledge that they are pregnant. They feel the fetus growing, and moving and know their babies are totally dependent on their love.

The newborn baby, freed from the womb, instinctively follows the smell to the breasts and begins his awakening to self awareness and to awareness of a mother and to consciousness.

Fathers, not being the primary care giver to their babies lack emotionally contact.

It is only when the babies grow up that fathers teach their sons all the games men play and teach their daughters how to be like their mothers.

Then fathers willingly sacrifice their lives to die for them.

Men will do and risk just about anything for sex. Because they like to be held by their balls, the women happily play along. They shamelessly and fearlessly submit to men and publicly admit to being halfwits

having only one brain while men have two. One in their penis and the other less powerful one in their heads.
