We live in a physical reality constrained by the laws of gravity and biology.
To over come these laws, we escape to a virtual reality using computers. We enjoy playing games to release ourselves from the stresses of life.
The monitor and mouse evolved
with artificial intelligent to make virtual realities which were so real as to be practically indistinguishable from the physical reality. And it also allowed you to defy gravity and death. Your senses were connected to a virtual representation of your body which was controlled by our thoughts. Sight, sound, smell, and touch bypassed our eyes, ears, noses and skin. Nerves controlling our arms and legs were temporarily blocked allowing us to do remarkable feats requiring movements that our real arms and legs were incapable of. People spent most of their free time in virtual realities playing the role of super heroes. If their avatar died, they just chose another and started their virtual reality life over again as if they were reincarnated. In this simulated reality, people could explore the recreated past, or explore the imaginary future.
Humanity by its nature is mostly irrational and unpredictable.
The rational thinking people like the scientists are far out numbered by the irrational populace led by religions and emotions such as love, hate, tribalism, instincts and wars. We evolved from life that lacked any rationality. It depended on instincts to survive. As we developed consciousness, we developed emotions and started to think and develop our rationality. A few were born among us that could think so well that led to develop machines and give us the illusion that humanity was rational.
Virtual realty on the other hand operated only following rational rigid rules. The more people engaged in virtual reality, the more they lost their irrational nature. People became colder, less loving, and lost their spontaneity and creativity.
Some people claim that our physical reality is just a virtual reality for spirits. Just like we play virtual reality to free us from the bonds of our physical reality, spirits play life with its challenges and rewards to let them explore what is beyond their heaven.
Love that plays such a vital role in our physical reality is too irrational of an emotion to play any meaningful role in the rational world of artificial intelligence and its virtual reality.
Unlike virtual reality where we pay to play with many options, physical reality is free for spirits, but they must play constrained by physical and biological laws. We manipulate our avatars with our thoughts that they must obey. Spirits manipulate us with intuition that we have the free will to ignore. This makes for a very interesting game with sudden surprises. Physical reality allows spirits to escape to play and experience life, just like we escape to play and imagine living in a game.
All the world is a stage and we are all just actors.
We are free to act in whatever way we want....but we are constrained to only one action at any one time. Our behavior is largely influenced by the other actors in our play. Our behavior defines our character of who we are and how other people see us and how we can influence them.
You are free to write your script in the play, and do anything you wish to influence other actors. As an actor, you want to give your very best performance.
We worry about what others think of us even when we know that they seldom do. We react to such thoughts with lies to make us appear better than we are. The more we lie, the harder it becomes to keep it and the easier it becomes uncovered. It takes one lie to lose a lifetime of trust, When trust is lost, it can take a lifetime to regain it.
Strive to make your reality so that you are close to people who inspire, or are inspired by you, and people that you trust and who trusts you. Appreciate the people in your life who give you pleasure and peace.
When you can not find peace and you must vent your anger, do it in the privacy of your home with a punching bag. Use your imagination and do it in virtual reality where you can trade in your fear and vulnerability and become as fearless and powerful as you want without disturbing your fellow actors.
People who try to control you can hold your thoughts hostage, if you let them. They can cause you to have feelings of disgust, frustration, anger and fear that rob you of your well-being. Avoid being too close to them and rather than fight them off, get away from them by pretending that you agree with them with the simple short phrase, “you are right”.
When you imagine your life to be only a play, you can even be amused by it. You can find your unfortunate moments so ridiculous as to find them funny deserving a big laugh from the audience. We can use our imagination to turn many things that make us shed a tear, to things that make us giggle instead, just like cartoonists do.
Its not winning that counts, its how you play to the game.
We never play to lose. We always want to win. In this world, the stronger win over the weaker, and the self assertive win over the meek. Its better to be a warrior in a garden, than a gardener in a war. The optimal is to be a meek warrior.
To be strong and sensitive ensures that the sensitivity is genuine. To be meek ensures an openness, and respect and tolerance toward others. Then one can develop and grow their consciousness.
